If you want to lose weight in a sustainable way all while caring for little ones, you must start by setting realistic goals and having a plan of action to carry out those goals.

And no, I am not talking about planning out which foods you aren’t allowed to have around the house or how many hours you’ll have to spend working out…

I am talking about transforming your life one habit at a time.

When I had my third babe in 3 years, I knew that I needed to set new expectations from myself in order to be successful postpartum. If I tried to do too much all at once, I knew it wouldn’t be sustainable. So, I began implementing small changes that I could maintain long term in order to form habits and I was able to yield the results I wanted over time! I lost 55 lbs in 9 months!!

High Protein & Macro-friendly Meal Prep

Here is how I prep my ground turkey teriyaki meat & my ground turkey taco meat suuuuuper FAST and EFFICIENTLY!

Meal ideas from these protein sources:
• Hard/soft tacos
• Taco bowl
• Burrito
• Crunchwrap
• Taco Salad
• Taquitos/flautas
• Tostada
• Nachos
• Teriyaki rice bowl
• Lettuce cups
• Asian salad
• Stir-Fry (add more veggies/noodles)
• Crispy summer roll
• Asian nachos

You can also do a similar approach with beef or chicken!Now, don’t ya tell me that you don’t know what to make for lunch or dinner this week to stay on track!! 😜 Any of these meal ideas using the meal prep will keep you satiated and fueled for hours. You’ve got this! 👏🏻

Weight loss is one thing, but what I REALLY love is seeing busy moms completely transform their lives by setting realistic goals and building lifelong habits!

I won’t sugarcoat it though…it took me 7 years of trial and error in the gym and kitchen (aka fad dieting) and then another 3 years of experience once becoming a certified personal trainer after having my first babe to gain the knowledge that I have now to share with you, so that you don’t have to make all the same mistakes I did and instead jump right into making progress!

But I’ll be honest, it may feel hard at first. You may even want to quit some days. Being a mom and choosing yourself daily knowing that prioritizing your health is only going to make you an even better mom is definitely a mindset shift!

AND THAT’S OKAY. They call it a “fitness journey” for a reason!

I would tell myself things like “I will start Monday” or “after the holidays” or “once I get into a groove with the kid(s)” and you know where that got me? Nowhere.

I’ve since learned that in order to see change, I must be willing to do things differently. I must be willing to invest in myself!

How I invested was years and years of trial and error and then a personal training certification followed my more practice through multiple pregnancies and postpartum fitness journeys!

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate my pregnant body…I’m grateful for how hard my body works to grow this 4th baby in my belly. BUT I’m definitely not feeling cute or sexy at this time, so the mirror tends to not be my friend 😂
